Red Bean Fillet

UTENSILS REQUIRED

Mixer, Fry Pan

S T E P   1

+ 0.5 Cup of Water 

Pour jar contents and hot water in a food processor / mixer, cover and sit for 10 mins whilst you prepare the mashed potato.

S T E P   2

+ 1 Potato (peeled & diced) (Per Serve)

Boil another pot of water and add diced potatoes and cook until a fork can go through the potato. Drain water, and add drained potato to hydrated jar contents in the food processor.

S T E P   3

+ 0.12 Cup of Corn Starch (Per Serve)

+ 0.5 TBSP Soy / Tamari Sauce (Per Serve)

+ 4 drops of Liquid Smoke (optional) (Per Serve)

Blend all ingredients together. Heat a fry pan to medium. Using a 1/4 Cup scoop out mixture and form a fillet shape in the pan. Cook for approx. 4 mins and turn over to cook the other side until each side is browned. Keep in mind these pillowy fillets are soft on the inside when handling.

You can use a thin coating of oil on the fry pan if you would like these fillets to blacken up, but you can also fry them in a non-stick pan without oil.

Serve with a hearty Salad, fresh bread or hot buttery corn on the cob.
